I would like to welcome you to the Fairview Park City School District website. The finances of the school district are continuously being updated by the treasurer’s office staff.

School districts in the State of Ohio operate on a calendar beginning July 1 st and ending June 30 th. This year is known as a “Fiscal Year”. School districts are the only government agency in the State required to submit a working budget known as a five-year forecast. The forecast is an assumption of the district finances and includes actual finances of the last three fiscal years, estimated current fiscal year revenues and expenditures and estimates for the next four fiscal years. The most recent forecast is included on our website. The five-year forecast is required to be updated in October and May, but can be updated more often.

After each regular board meeting, the treasurer’s general fund summary report will be placed in the financial section for your perusal. This report informs how the general operating finances of the district relate to past years and to the most recent five year forecast. This report also includes the recent investments of the general operating funds.
