What is a Parent Mentor
It is the mission of the Ohio Parent Mentors to provide the necessary support and resources to families of children with disabilities and to the professionals that serve them.

Meet our Parent Mentor

Niki Lynch is the Parent Mentor for Fairview Park City Schools. Her services are free.

She is the proud mom of two special needs children. Through her own personal experiences and strong involvement with children’s special needs organizations, she has grown in her own journey as a parent of children with special needs. Niki is very active in the special needs community. Niki serves on the Board of Directors for the Fragile X Alliance of Ohio. Other associations she belongs to include Walk Coordinator for the Northeast Ohio Polycystic Kidney Disease Chapter and 1st Vice President for the First Step Special Needs PTA.

Niki will work closely with parents, faculty and administration to insure that the needs of every child are met.

Books, tapes, DVD’s or VHS tapes are available to check out of the Parent Mentor library. There are a variety of topics to choose from. If interested, please contact Niki.
