- Provide students and staff a technological base to effectively participate in the global community. Equip each classroom to become a global communications center for providing authentic audiences and opportunities to build new relationship for authentic assessment for students and staff.
- Empower students to develop critical thinking strategies to evaluate information and utilize technological tools to become active life long learners.
- Build a technology network environment that guarantees robust communication and information sharing.
- Provide access to reliable and easy to use technological tools to accommodate diverse ability levels and learning styles.
- Provide technological tools at the points where teaching and learning occur.
- Develop and support a staff that utilizes technology effectively for teaching, coaching, assessment, communication, collaboration, and information access.
- Integrate technology throughout the curriculum.
- Provide technology tools that will facilitate parent to teacher communication.
- Use technology to facilitate student decision-making and interdisciplinary learning.
- Use technological tools to expedite management of administrative records and instructional progress.
- Maintain an ongoing structure to review, evaluate, and make recommendations related to the district’s use of technology.
