Enrollment

Enrollment for the Toddler, Day Care, and Nursery School Programs is open to
all area residents, 18 months through 5 years of age; however, priority will be given to
residents of Fairview Park.

The Before and After School Program and the Kindergarten Extension Program
are available to students in Grades K-6. Students at Gilles Sweet School will be
transported to and from FPEELC by Fairview Park school buses. The charge for this
transportation will be $1.00 per day

Programs

Toddlers (T)
- Age 18-36 months
- Need not be potty trained
- Nutritious lunches and snacks provided

 

 

Day Care (DC)
- Age 3 years (potty trained) through 5 years (not in Kindergarten)
- Nutritious lunches and snacks
- Planned activities for all age levels
- Children enrolled in this program have a rest period each afternoon

Nursery School (NS)
- Age 3-5 years old
- Must be potty trained
- Sessions are 2 1/2 hours long
- Classes meet two, three, four, or five times a week from September through May
- Readiness and developmental activities are part of each day's schedule
- Nutritious snack available

Kindergarten Extension (KE)
- Students at Gilles Sweet School will be transported to and from
FPEELC by Fairview Park school buses
- Nutritious lunches and snacks
- Rest period for afternoon students
- Planned craft activities daily
School Age
Before and/or After School (SA -- B/S, A/S, B/A)
- Available to students in Grades 1-6. Students at Gilles Sweet School and St. Angela's
will be transported to and from FPEELC by Fairview Park school buses
- Afternoon snacks are served
- Recreation activities available
- Study time available; staff is willing to help with homework if possible
- Available to students when school is closed due to vacation or other
circumstances
Summer Vacation Program (SV)
- Available to children ages 18 months through 12 years of age
- Nutritious snacks and lunches
- Programs vary according to age
- Activities include crafts, individual and team sports, swimming, films, and more
Note: A minimum of four days per week is required for all child care programs
(Toddler, Day Care, Kindergarten Extension, School Age, and Summer Vacation).
